The Tameside Training Consortium (TTC) is an Employer Led Partnership with a local Steering Group.

The TTC annually accesses funding from Skills for Care, Social Care Workforce Grant and resources funding from Train to Gain and the European Social Fund and partially or fully funds activities.

The Consortiums Training Organiser is a member of the Dignity in Care Steering Group, the Greater Manchester Employer Led Partnership Group, the NMDS – SC Steering Group the management group for the Tameside Vocational Training Centre and attends Provider Forums.

In light of the continued success of jdee’s New Type of Worker programme, Shaun Douglas-Galley and Sarah Johnson presented to over 120 delegates at the TCC annual conference on the importance of workforce development and operational change management.

A well received outline of the programme saw providers consider the key developments required by the workforce to implement person centred support and deliver on planned outcomes. Self Care Support was discussed as the ‘way forward’ to link with those customers requiring longer term care management post 6 week re-ablement.

jdee also launched their products and services to support provider services ‘evidence’ their organisational developments in line with Putting People First
